Alanna Masterson From 'The Walking Dead' Gave An Epic Clap Back To Body Shamers

I'm a hater. It's who I am. But I'm trying to transition my hateration into something positive and that's by actually doing something with myself. There's no better way of feeling superior to someone (if that's what really gets you off) by demonstrating why you're superior. So by creating something beautiful, witty, and entertaining, or getting in better shape than someone, or just doing anything that's difficult that they can't do, that's turning hating into an art.

But an amateur hater is content to just sit on the sidelines and make criticisms without doing anything extraordinary in their own lives. Obviously there are exceptions to this rule, but if some dude working a 9-5 job he hates is ragging on an actress on a super popular TV show for being "fat" then it's safe to say that the dude is an amateur hater.

Which is exactly what happened to Alanna Masterson.

The Walking Dead star has been either pregnant or nursing throughout her last two seasons of the popular TV show.

The latest episode of the show centered on Alanna's character's fight to stay alive. But people were more concerned with her weight than her character's struggle.

And Alanna wasn't having any of it. She responded to fat-shaming haters with an Instagram post that basically proves she's better than most people.

Dear Instagram trolls, body shamers, and the men and woman who think it's ok to comment on my weight: I hope that you don't have children. And if you do, I hope you teach them about kindness and acceptance. I hope they learn that it isn't ok to make fun of people or call people names. I hope one day YOU learn what it takes to be a parent. A kind, selfless parent. A working parent. A parent that puts themselves in someone else's shoes. Maybe you can't get it through your thick fucking skull, but nursing a baby for a year (and pumping in a van between takes, in the dead of summer in Georgia) is a lot of work, determination, and scheduling. So before you decide to make a comment about my chest being "too large" or how "fat" I've become, just know that this little girl got the best start to life. I wouldn't have changed it for a second. I would've gladly continued to eat enough calories to produce milk for her little bones to grow. Also, grow the fuck up. Your mother should be ashamed for raising such a judgmental bully. I'm sure she knows how "courageous" you must be for trolling and hiding behind your Iphone and computers. P.s. I would LOVE to see any man or woman give birth to a baby, nurse the baby, and then work 17 hour days and NAIL their own stunts. P.s.s. Be kind to each other. We need it now more than ever. ❀️✌🏼️

Masterson reminded the trolls of just how difficult it is for a human being to operate on such high levels. Shooting, travelling, and raising a child all at the same time requires an insane amount of dedication that not many people could handle.

Twitter was quick to give virtual high-fives to Masterson for her clap back.

@Renee_Hey @popatic @AlannaMasterson I honestly can't imagine working that many hours and breastfed and pumping. Wonder freakin woman!

It's obvious that Alanna's affected by her haters, but it's clear to see that she got the last word on the matter. Good for her.
